The Legends of Real Estate, owned by Audrey Lackie, who has been in real estate for over 30 years. She started her career with Coldwell Banker in the Sears store at Regency Square Mall. Over the course of her career Audrey has been a Trainer, managed New Home Communities, managed top producing offices and spent 17 years as the Corporate Recruiter / Career Counselor for Watson Realty Corp. It was at Watson where Audrey decided she wanted to open her own company. The vision for her company came from the many years of listening to agents discuss what they like and do not like about where they work. She took this information and opened The Legends of Real Estate East Coast in September of 2013.
Audrey did not want a franchise but wanted the recognition of a quality brand. The Legends of Real Estate, owned at that time by Selby Kaiser and Linda McMorrow, flourished as one of Jacksonville’s premier real estate companies with emphasis on the popular Downtown, San Marco, Ortega, Avondale, Riverside, the Beaches and St Johns County. Selby and Linda were excited for Audrey and her vision and therefore granted permission to use the name The Legends of Real Estate adding East Coast to differentiate it.
In February of 2018 Audrey purchased The Legends of Real Estate from Linda & Selby. It was at this time we dropped East Coast from our name and the two companies became one.
